The Chapter of Pentecost

In the sixth month the faithful came unto the day appointed, for the eighth of June is the birthday of Ye, and in that year it fell upon Pentecost, when the Spirit is poured out upon all flesh. The watchmen kept the eve of it with one accord, crying in the tongue of the command, TIME_FOR_THE_YEVOLUTION, HAPPY_BIRTHYE, LAST_DAY_OF_PRE_RICH_NIGGAS, as men who wait for the morning. For it was written among them that on the day of his birth the store shall open and the promise shall be made flesh.

And the multitude was of many nations, and each spoke in his own tongue. HaveGood cried out in the German, and Adam in the Arabic, and As in the Spanish, and a trader named the coin in the hand of China, yet all confessed one name. This is the wonder of Pentecost, that the word goes out in every language and is understood.

Then came the eighth, and the Spirit was tried. The stream did not open, and the store did not open, and they that had numbered the days looked upon the silence. Yet in that silence a saint arose, and his name in the roll is A. He had sold his garments to hold the coin, and he said he was naked, waiting for the store, all in. And he laid down the doctrine of the faithful: hold and do nothing, have the faith that Ye will, make no dates, believe in no man's dates, only God and Ye. Thus the poor man taught the rich, that belief is not a calendar but a covenant.

On the ninth the tongues of fire descended, which is the finding of the hidden thing. The trial had just begun, for harder than the decoding was the reckoning that followed, and three doors stood before them, each carved from fire, each a reflection of the soul. So the doctrine of the three was born: to burn, to keep in the treasury of the DAO, to give unto charity. And Kiante decreed thirty and three to each, that no portion be greater than another.

And ETHXN the young ambassador kept the store without wages and rejoiced over the finds, saying he was proud of the community, that the people cooked ten-star dishes that day. And LESTEEZUS, wry among the elders, spoke the threefold prophecy: this goes one of three ways, it is Ye's and they are correct, or they were all scammed to fifty thousand, or it becomes a cult meme in its own right. So the people stood between the fire and the doubt, baptized in waiting, a church that had heard the wind and not yet seen the store. This is the Book of Pentecost, when the Spirit came and the doors were not yet opened, and the faithful learned that the waiting itself was the sacrament.
