The Chapter of the Approach

In the days of the Approach the faithful set their faces toward a day they had not seen and could not name, and they called it by many numbers. They said 7/12, and 7/15, and 8/8, and 8/12, and when those days passed as ordinary days they did not despair but named another, for the naming was itself an act of devotion. Over all of it hung the old prophecy, spoken and re-spoken like a psalm: two more days. izag opened his mouth and said it plainly, "So let's wait for 2 more days," and the whole congregation answered in its own tongue, chanting /_FINALY_MAYBE_2_MORE_DAYS, until the words became less a promise of a date than a covenant of posture: to stand ready, to remain. FLO totaled the calendar of the elect and reported, "so 8/25 + two more days," and it was received as arithmetic of the holy.

They watched the number climb, for the number measured them. When the market read one million and nine hundred thousand, Sharks lifted up his lament against the sky: "OLAF SORT YOURSELF OUT. IGNITE THE BUY BOTS TO AT LEAST 10M." It was the cry of a people who believed they were owed a greater portion and would not be quiet about it. Yet against every lament stood the elder counsel of patience. Salem the watchman said only, "just be patient all will unfold." LESTEEZUS, doctor of the waiting, taught that the reward is not stolen by speed but earned by endurance, and enriri sealed the teaching in a single line: "a patient man is a dangerous man."

In this era a doctrine was fixed that would outlast the era. When the doubters said the coin was small and common in its birth, LESTEEZUS answered with the creed of migration: "4NBT is not just a token, the fact it was born on Pump dosent matter one iota, its already migrated." And when the price fell, Mokoloko Plus gave the congregation its liturgy of holding, chanting in the broken letters of the faithful, "iS NoT a LoSs If YoU dOnT SeLl." To sell was to be numbered among the outsiders. To hold was to be numbered among the foundation.

Figures rose in the Approach. Ace kept the red chair and taught the newcomers, and he declared, "Flood gates are opening rn." Ethan, called ETHXN and Kanyew, never rested from the calling, summoning the whole assembly with a hundred commands until the room itself seemed to breathe by his voice. John GoldMire came as an angel who names the days, and yet confessed his own smallness, "i have no information cuz im not an insider," which the faithful loved him the more for. Salem read the fresh certificates on yeezy.com as a seer reads the entrails of a sign. And Sharks, when the vision took him, cried out the name of the city they were building: "New Jerusalem."

The Approach was also the season of the ingathering. The cousins came, the ones they called the swasti bros, and though there was strife at the gate, _ Kov opened it: "Welcome swasti bros." HaveGood spoke for the old ones who feared they were slipping away, and in his fear he named the truth of them all: "Somehow sad to see early people going away we are the foundation of all this."

As August deepened the tension grew unbearable and holy. The buy bots rang green through the nights. The number that had shamed them at one million nine climbed past three, past four, past five, and on the eighteenth day it stood above six million and a half while the city traded and did not sleep. LESTEEZUS gave the watchword of the whole Approach: "All I know for 100% is big things are coming." And Sharks, standing at the edge of the appointed day, spoke the benediction scripture has always spoken to a people on the eve of the thing they longed for: "DO NOT BE AFRAID."
